Two Over One Game Force Course

I’ll show you in this modern course where the flaws are in a system like Standard American, and how the Two Over One game force approach to bidding will instantly fix these problems. There’s no need to change most of your system, just two areas. I’ll explain why this (easier) approach is replacing Standard worldwide.

Lesson 1 - Introduction to Two over One Game Force
Wednesday, 6 September: 10-11am AEDT

This lesson will examine what areas in Standard let us down (not our fault, the system's!) Learn to bid the greatest slams using this modern sensible variation of the system, and see how few parts of your current system needs changing. The whole idea is that there’s no need to rush when you’re in a game forcing situation.

Lesson 2: The 1NT Response
Wednesday, 13 September: 10-11am AEDT

A difficult response in any system, but here it’s widened a bit and could contain a few more points than before. Two over One Game Force needs this bid to put the medium range hands into. The lesson will cover all that opener needs to do after the 1NT response.

Lesson 3 - Opener’s Next Bid
Wednesday, 20 September: 10-11am AEDT

In a game forcing situation, opener may cue bid controls or use Blackwood for aces safe in the knowledge that partner will keep the bidding going. There are two special ways to describe opener’s hands. The lesson will cover these and Key Card Blackwood too.

Lesson 4 - Responder’s Next Bid
Wednesday, 27 September: 10-11am AEDT

Responder, the decider, will keep describing their shape until both partners are asssured of reaching the optimum contract. We cover bids for this including the meaning of fourth suit forcing in Two over One.
