Joan loves playing and teaching bridge. She has taught thousands of people, from Beginner to Advanced, in real life and online. She uses a clear, student-centred teaching method, and explains concepts simply and logically.

She has played bridge since her mid 20’s, owned and operated clubs for many years, and written a number of bridge books. She also trained teachers in bridge education. Joan has represented Australia, and is a current (2023) title holder of some national and state events.
